Bruce in 1968 in Vietnam flying the right seat of an OH6 Alpha (Scout helicopter) holding a M79 grenade launcher. It was a single shot 40mm grenade that was launched. Normally the observer (in the left seat) carried the M79 to fire grenades into bunkers and spider holes. Bruce was holding the weapon to pose for the photo.
